So when I assembled the ignition into my 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000, the bike would not start.
It was throwing a code. It turns out that the US ignition switch is supposed to have a 100 ohm resistor, to prevent hot-wiring.
To fix this I cut the orange-yellow wire on the ignition switch and soldered a 100 ohm resistor to the two cut ends of the wire.
Problem solved. But I should not have had to do this. And I had to research the issue myself.
At least life will be easier for you.
And FYI the two screws that hold the switch on the motorcycle are M8x20 with 1.25 thread pitch.

Cheap part. This is not a direct replacement part. You must keep your old wire harness, remove the wire harness from this cheap part and tgrow it away and re install old harness onto switch to work. This part needs modifications before it will work on your motorcycle. I have a 2007 GSXR750r and once this part was plugged in the bike would not start. There is a 100ohm resistor inside this cheap part but it's not installed correctly from the knockoff factory.

This item is not direct fit for a GSXR 600 2014, The ignition does NOT work once plugged in due to the other comments... If you try it throws your Fi, light and will not start. I had to used the plugs/ wire from the old ignition and put them together. Its unfortunate that this item does not work. But the keys did match all three locks and now my buddy has matching keys for everything.

i like the blue key area though the on on the seat lock was a bit rough on the edges ( i just shaved it off) everything fit very well and keys work smoothly. though im hoping this isnt one of the 'need a 100 ohm whatsamijigger' ignitions to make it work lol.
